We had the opportunity to pour a parking lot for the Eastwoods 19th Street apartment addition in Watertown, South Dakota. The project included a sizeable parking lot, sidewalk, and porches for the complex.
The parking lot called for a special mix that included structural fiber. The weather was getting colder but would warm up during the day, so it was important to know what chemical to put in the mix for a consistent end result. The concrete plant was an hour away from the pour site, so we had to adjust our plans and work fast and efficiently to get the concrete on the ground before it started to set up. Wind also added an additional obstacle and our team worked expertly to get the consistent finish we wanted to achieve. South Dakota weather posed a challenge on this project, but our team had the experience and the tools to get the job done.
